Welcome to the first edition of my Maine State Senate campaign newsletter!

My four terms of service in the Maine House of Representatives will conclude in 2026. I continue to deliver on a promise I made 8 years ago: to put people before politics. I hope to continue to serve southern Maine as your next State Senator.

Because experience, integrity, continuity, & compassion matter now more than ever before, I am running to represent the people of Senate District 35: Ogunquit, York, Kittery, Eliot & South Berwick.

I will keep you informed on upcoming election issues, what's happening at the local, state & federal levels that impacts you, and how you can get involved as we move toward the November 2026 midterm election, when I'll be on the ballot. Stay well & in touch, as will I

There's an election on 11/4. What's on the ballot?

Questions 1 & 2 are Citizens Initiatives.

These reach the ballot through a process of signature collection

  • Q1 would enact 27+ changes to Maine's election laws-fundamentally changing absentee voting here and disenfranchising many older, disabled, working and rural voters. It's voter suppression- plain & simple.

Vote NO on 1.

  • Q2 is an "Extreme Risk Protection Order" also known as a Red Flag law. This would allow a family member to seek a court order to remove firearms if another family member is in crisis & is a risk to themselves /others.

    Red Flag laws save lives.

    Vote YES on 2.

Will you vote No on 1 and Yes on 2?

  • I will note No on 1 and Yes on 2

  • I'm not sure
