Oct. 31 -- To the Editor:
I am writing to urge you to vote for Michele Meyer for Maine House of Representatives, District 2. I am a wife, a mom, a local business owner, a former teacher, and am very active in my community. All of those roles and responsibilities have led me to endorse Michele for our district.
I have found her to be incredibly committed to the people of Maine and to our three local towns. She has responded to all of my questions and concerns promptly, and with thoughtful and complete answers. I’ve been Impressed with her work ethic (she’s knocked on thousands of doors and made as many phone calls!) and humility.
She shares my values in her platform for:
1. Women’s rights - health and economic security.
2. Quality and affordable healthcare for all.
3. Responsible and fair taxes and educational funding.
4. Rights for senior citizens.
5. Clean energy
