May 8 -- To the Editor:
I’m writing to encourage your readers in Kittery, Eliot, and South Berwick to vote for Michele Meyer in the upcoming Democratic Primary on June 12.
Until a few weeks ago, I was a registered Republican but switched party affiliation to support Ms. Meyer’s bid for the Maine State House. While Michele and I may not always agree on matters of policy, we do agree on what matters most in our political representatives: honesty, transparency, and civility.
Michele Meyer has worked tirelessly for the citizens of Eliot as a champion of good local government. I will support her nomination and election to the Maine State House.
